2025 metro area labor force data available
After several months of a nationwide delay, 2025 labor force data for the Rapid City and Sioux Falls metro areas is now available for January through May. Additionally, data for both areas has been revised back to 1990. The data for the Sioux Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) also now reflects the new MSA designation (including Rock County of Minnesota in addition to the formerly included South Dakota counties of Lincoln, Minnehaha, McCook, and Turner.)
